kevin braga is an italian jazz house producer, artist and creative entrepreneur whose work blends jazz house, lo-fi and contemporary edm into a sound shaped by personal growth, transformation and a strong sense of aesthetic identity.

the influences behind his work extend far beyond music. literature, psychology, nature and self-improvement all play a role in a vision built around a simple question: how can we live more intentionally?

born in montecchio emilia in 1997, kevin braga began his creative journey during adolescence, when music represented freedom, curiosity and possibility. but the years that followed would reshape that path entirely.

while studying at university in milan, a series of events forced him to confront a very different reality. the end of a significant relationship was followed by acute myocarditis and, shortly afterwards, the pandemic. everything that had once seemed certain suddenly no longer was.

the years that followed were marked by treatment, physical limitations and uncertainty. as the world slowed down, so too did his sense of the future. it was during this period that kevin braga released his first official tracks, come fiori di ciliegio and nuova guinea. the releases were developed under the guidance of his mentor nelsy akomor, known professionally as fléxy, a label executive he met during milan fashion week.

those early releases no longer reflect the artist kevin braga has become today. yet they remain the first chapters of a much larger story: the journey from expressing emotion to searching for meaning.

not long after, another turning point came with the loss of his father. within only a few years, kevin braga had to completely redefine his priorities, both as an artist and as a man.

many of the ideas he once associated with success changed completely. the need for approval gave way to a search for balance. urgency was replaced by patience. what mattered was no longer moving faster, but understanding what was truly worth pursuing.

during this period, many of the ideas that would later define the project began to emerge. reading, therapy, sport and a growing interest in human behaviour gradually became part of a new way of living, built around discipline, self-awareness and intentional choices.

a decisive change came when he moved with his family to the shores of lake garda.

the calm of the lake, the rhythm of the seasons, the understated elegance of the landscape and the distance from the noise of his previous life offered a different perspective. at the same time, his interest in business, branding and creative projects continued to grow.

as he rediscovered jazz and electronic sounds in this new environment, connections began to emerge between experiences, passions and projects that had once seemed unrelated. for the first time, what had long felt fragmented started to tell a story. together, those separate pieces formed a single image, like an impressionist painting finally viewed from the right distance.

life on lake garda also shaped a new understanding of creativity itself. the idea of reinterpreting existing garments and transforming them into something new emerged directly from this experience. at the heart of that idea was a simple belief: the past should not be erased, but understood, valued and integrated. what once seemed incomplete could be given new meaning.

that realisation would eventually become BRAGA | rive del garda.

in music, the electronic influences of his early works never disappeared. they evolved.

first came the lo-fi tracks, establishing kevin braga as an artist inspired by contemplation, daily rituals and a slower way of living. then came the jazz house tracks: a more mature sound that combines house rhythms, live instruments and a timeless aesthetic, defining his identity as a jazz house producer. music stopped telling the story of what was missing and began telling the story of what had been understood.

today, as a founder of BRAGA | rive del garda, kevin braga is guided by a belief shaped through years of transformation. his work revolves around a simple conviction: time is the most precious resource we have. the quality of our lives depends on how we choose to spend our time: the environments we inhabit, the people we surround ourselves with and the objects we decide to keep close.

at its core, the project is an invitation to make those choices with greater awareness.

born on the shores of lake garda, BRAGA | rive del garda is an italian conscious fashion brand inspired by kevin braga’s jazz house and lo-fi music and the philosophy that grew from it. every piece begins with a deliberate choice of materials.

intentional living is not about owning less or doing more. it is about making room for what deserves to remain.

one-of-a-kind coats begin with rare vintage pieces. limited-edition shirts begin with carefully selected natural fabrics. in both cases, the starting point is the same: creating objects designed to endure, inspired by the same philosophy that shapes kevin braga’s music.

longevity does not end when a garment is purchased: through the BRAGA tailoring programme, each piece can continue to adapt to the person who wears it, allowing comfort, fit and character to evolve over time.

because objects designed to last should never be expected to remain static.

rather than being produced in large quantities, each collection develops according to the availability of the materials that inspire it.

many of the coats used as a foundation were originally made to last for decades. yet time, neglect or changing tastes have left visible marks on them. for BRAGA, those marks are not imperfections to hide, but the starting point of a new chapter. like people, garments are shaped by where time has left its mark.

for this reason, the work begins where it is not immediately visible. internal linings are rebuilt using carefully selected materials. once structures are reinforced, details are refined. each intervention is designed to extend the life of the garment while respecting its original character.

buttons are chosen individually with care, often crafted from mother-of-pearl, to introduce subtle contrast and highlight the colours already present within the fabric. rather than overwhelming the garment, these details are intended to reveal what was already there.

natural fibres remain central throughout the process: alpaca, linen, wool and cotton are preferred not only for their durability but also for the way they age, breathe and interact with the skin. synthetic materials are avoided whenever they compromise comfort, longevity, or the quality of the garment.

as a result, production remains naturally limited, shaped by the materials themselves rather than predetermined quantities.

the visual language of BRAGA is shaped by lake garda itself.

the movement of the lake, the changing light across the seasons and the soft curves of the surrounding landscape influence every collection. rigid geometry gives way to more fluid, natural lines. elegance emerges through proportion, texture and restraint.

this philosophy takes different forms throughout the collections.

the coats reflect the atmosphere of winter on the lake: understated, refined and designed to accompany the wearer for years. colours remain balanced. every detail serves a purpose.

the shirts tell a different story.

particularly in linen, they draw inspiration from the lighter rhythm of summer on lake garda: long afternoons by the water in desenzano, slow evenings in bardolino, long conversations after sunset on a terrace overlooking the lake in gardone riviera. the lightness of linen, breathable and naturally relaxed, becomes part of that experience.

colour appears sparingly, used not to attract attention but to create character without sacrificing elegance.

the shores of lake garda are more than a location. they are the aesthetic and cultural foundation of the project.

rarity is not created through artificial scarcity. it emerges naturally from the process itself.
